Maison Matahari

We spent 7 days here, and honestly, the photos on Airbnb don’t do this house justice. Walking inside, you get this gorgeous, luxurious feeling straight away, with everything so clean, beautifully decorated & thoughtfully laid out. It feels safe, private, and so easy to feel at home in. We had everything we needed, & I loved how the living area connects with the kitchen, with the view out to the pool and the outdoor chill-out area. You can really enjoy the house, even just spending an afternoon on the couch. Upstairs, the two bedrooms sit on either side of the staircase, and each feels like a massive suite, the kind where you feel like a queen or king. There’s a luxury-loft feeling to them that I absolutely loved. The mattress! I spend a lot of time in Airbnbs, this is genuinely one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. The team is lovely, helpful and discreet, and I want to give a special mention to Wira, who welcomed us & so friendly. Thank you for this experience.

We had a lovely stay and the team were super helpful in ensuring that we had everything we needed. It is a simple, cosy and quiet place to set up base in the Canggu area. However, do note that it’s harder for cars to access the villa, so you’re better off taking the motor / walking for the last mile. Otherwise, we were very satisfied and comfortable there! We had a wonderful stay at this villa and truly felt at home. The villa was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very well equipped. The beds were especially comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The villa is located at the end of the street, which made it peaceful and quiet during the evenings and nights. During the day, it could be a bit noisy due to construction in the surrounding area, but this was only a minor inconvenience. The pool area was perfect, and we really enjoyed spending time there. We were also very happy with the communication and housekeeping service. The staff were responsive, helpful, and always willing to assist whenever needed. The location is excellent—very central, yet still private and secluded. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend this villa to others.

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The host was incredibly kind and generous, allowing us to check in earlier and check out later, which made our trip so much more enjoyable. The villa was beautifully maintained, and felt just like a home away from home. One of our favorite things was the sofa, it was unbelievably comfortable and the perfect place to relax after a long day. We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We will definitely come back the next time we visit!

It felt like home, amazing place. No insects no geckos non of that. Seen some but out of the villa itself. Would highly recommend and thanks to the owner and the staff for their professionalism.

Our stay at this villa in Canggu was absolutely incredible. Honestly, the photos don’t even come close to showing how beautiful it is in real life — it completely exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is stunning, and everything was perfectly maintained. The hosts were exceptionally kind and always replied incredibly fast whenever we had a question. During our two-week stay, the cleaning team came twice and the villa looked amazing every time. We truly had the best time here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was one of the best accommodations we have ever experienced, and we would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. We would love to come back one day!

Highly recommend!! Gorgeous private villa exactly as pictured. It’s massive and has so much space to host family/friends for a group dinner or drinks. It’s laid out on 2 levels, huge rooms, super well equipped kitchen and really clean. Area is at the end of a street so it’s quiet and away from the madness but close enough to get into Berawa in 2 minutes. Staff were so kind and accommodating and helpful. It was a great stay.

This place was gorgeous and very clean! The hosts were also very friendly and accommodating. One very small thing to note is that sometimes it may be hard for cars to get to the villa as the road is quite narrow but other than that our stay was perfect!

We had an amazing stay!! This place is stunning and in such a great location. The attention to detail in the decoration was one of my favorite things about this place. So gorgeous and felt right at home. The host also helped us arrange to get our clothes laundered before leaving. Very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon!

A Perfectly Designed and Located Villa in Berawa We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Maison Matahari in Berawa. The property is exactly as pictured – beautifully designed with a great eye for detail that manages to be both stylish and very comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and the layout of the villa creates a wonderful feeling of openness. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in the common areas because it felt so airy and peaceful. A real highlight was being able to watch the sunset from the pool deck right there in the house. The location was a major plus for us. Big supermarket Pepito is around the corner. And It's incredibly close to some of the best gyms in the area. We checked out Wanderlust, Nirvana, and Alpha Gym, all of which were just a few minutes away. For recovery, the highly-rated Aetheria Natural Healing Spa is also very nearby and we had a great massage there. Overall, Maison Matahari is a fantastic choice.
