1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to the Bali Luxury Management website, to guests who send a booking or service enquiry through it, and to property owners who request a management consultation.
Bali Luxury Management is the controller of the information described here. To ask a question about this policy, to request a copy of your information, or to ask for it to be deleted, use the contact page.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form. A booking enquiry asks for your name and email address, and optionally a phone or WhatsApp number, your country of residence, an estimated arrival time, the occasion for the stay and any requests for the villa team. A management enquiry asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number and a description of the property. A newsletter signup asks only for an email address.
When a booking enquiry is sent, the property name, the dates, the guest count and the estimated total shown on screen are sent with it, so the team can answer the specific stay you were looking at.
We do not ask for passport details, identity documents or payment card details anywhere on this website, and no field on it should ever be used to send them.
3. Why we hold it, and on what basis
Enquiry details are used to answer your enquiry, to confirm availability and the final rate, and to arrange the stay or the management conversation that follows. The lawful basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
A newsletter address is used only to send the updates you asked for. You can ask to be removed at any time and we will stop.
4. Who else sees it
Property availability, rates and photographs on this website come from Guesty, the property management platform Bali Luxury Management uses. Your enquiry is delivered to the team by email through our email provider. The website is hosted by Vercel. Each of these processes information on our instructions in order to run the service.
Where a stay involves a third party — the owner of the property, a villa team, a driver, a chef or a therapist — only the details that party needs in order to deliver the service are shared with them.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. Where it is held and for how long
Bali Luxury Management operates from Bali, Indonesia, and the providers above operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside the country you are writing from.
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to keep a record of the booking or consultation that followed. The exact retention period is being set and will be stated here once it is confirmed.
6. Cookies and measurement
This website sets no cookies and carries no advertising or social media tracking tags. We count page views and steps such as a search or a booking request with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without identifying you: it records the page, the country and the device type, not who you are. Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third party. See the cookie policy for the detail, including what the site keeps in your browser.
If you arrived through a link that names a campaign or a partner, that label is sent with any enquiry you make so we know which channel reached you. It describes the link, not you.
7. Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
8. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection and enquiry details are transmitted to the team over encrypted channels. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, which is why this website never asks for payment or identity details.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published here with a new date below.
